Blina Station is located 150 km east of Derby, Western Australia in the western end of the Kimberley region running around 25,000 head of cattle.
We seek a Cook on a temporary basis to cover a period of leave. The position will start on Monday, July 26 and go through until Saturday, 4th of September.
The Cook is responsible for providing home-style breakfast, lunch, dinners and smoko for the crew of about 12 during working days. You will also be required to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety in the kitchen and coolroom along with managing the food inventory. Cooking equipment in a modern kitchen is provided.
As a short-term position, this would be a great opportunity for someone looking to experience working on a big cattle station before making a long-term commitment for the full season.
Previous work on a station is not necessary but will be taken into consideration. As the person everyone sees daily, an approachable and positive personality is a must!
In return, single person accommodation is available and pay will be offered in line with experience. This is a great opportunity to work in the beautiful Kimberley region of outback WA.
