Jumbuck
Life

Life at Jumbuck is like no other.

The temperatures are extreme, there’s dust everywhere, it’s isolating, there are flies, drought, fires, flooding and everything in between, and for many people, it’s the best time of their lives.

It’s a different career path for a reason. On Monday you could be mustering by helicopter, Wednesday you’ll be on the motorbikes surveying the many watering points and assessing the welfare of the stock, and on Friday you could be on your way to a local Rodeo. It’s exhilarating and although it can take sometime to adjust, the experiences, the friends and the skills you will have for life, make it all worthwhile.

At Jumbuck, we value integrity, determination and hard work – this applies to our company, directors and all staff.

As a wholly Australian-owned family business, we are committed to quality – whether that’s through sustainable land management, conservation, farming, employment opportunities and everything in between.

We’re continually thinking about how we can do better – life at Jumbuck is a reflection of that.

Employees at Jumbuck:

  • Are positive, enthusiastic and hard working
  • Are open-minded
  • Excel at what they do
  • Respect everyone – stakeholders, staff, neighbours, suppliers, customers, colleagues, custodians of the land
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Recognise individual efforts and work as a team
  • Lead by example

Jumbuck are committed to providing equal opportunity for all employees and to further their careers and professional goals. We strongly believe that this is the best way to develop skills that form a foundation for success.

Life at Jumbuck is challenging, but is extremely rewarding.
